Katherine Baines​ - Director - FCCA, BA (Hons.), Dip.Log.

Kate is a qualified Chartered Accountant and author of 'The Small Business Guide to Setting Up A Business'.  Having had a career in retail management before becoming a qualified accountant, she has significant experience working with a wide variety of SME businesses. She originally qualified as an auditor, before moving in to industry as a Group Accountant for a steel tube distribution company. In 2008 she moved back in to practice and set up Beacon Accountancy & Tax in 2013. In 2016 she set up The Business Pod to help start-up businesses start on the right track, and in 2018 she collaborated with Mike Newnham and founded Quantum R&D Tax.
